However, there are many positive exam- ples of how good trainees can be found in times of scarce person- nel. Some exhibitors at AMB will show what can be done. New thematic hall planning at this year s AMB With a new thematic hall plan- ning, AMB returns to Stuttgart. The topics in the exhibition areas will be restructured: machining tools and chucking tools will be presented in the L-Bank Forum (Hall 1) and Hall 3. Hall 4 and Oskar Lapp Hall (Hall 6) will focus on lathes and automatic lathes. Hall 5 will feature grinding machines, tool grinding machines and every- thing relating to them. Alfred Kär- cher Hall (Hall 8) will present the innovations in sawing and cut- ting-off grinding machines, surfa- ce technology, marking systems, hardening and heating machines, lubrication and cooling, and safe- ty and environmental enginee- ring. Hall 7, Hall 9 and the new Paul Horn Hall (Hall 10) will round off the exhibition programme with milling machines, metal-re- moving process machine tools, measuring systems and quality as- surance, as well as flexible pro- duction cells/systems, machining centres, gear cutting machines and drilling machines.
