Under the name of Metal + Tech, the show will premier from 27 to 30 November 2018 at the Guangdong (Tanzhou) International Conven- tion and Exhibition Center in the city of Foshan. Foshan, which is located on the western side of the Pearl River Delta, is one of China’s most im- portant automotive, mechanical engineering and metalworking centers. Metal + Tech will serve as a gateway to what is one of the world’s most important mar- kets for metalworking technolo- gies and is targeted at providers from around the globe. The new show will be staged annually by Deutsche Messe (based in Han- nover, Germany) and its Chinese subsidiary, Milano Fairs Shanghai. Related shows in Asia and Eurasia Companies exhibiting at Metal + Tech will find plenty of opportuni- ties to make new contacts, devel- op their Chinese business and net- work with Chinese customers and business partners. Foshan, which has a population of 7.5 million and is home to some 130,000 com- panies, is a vibrant and dynamic economic center. This makes the city the ideal location for foreign direct investment. Deutsche Messe also organizes a number of other international trade fairs for the sheet metal and metalworking industries in Asia and Eurasia. These include the Metalworking and CNC Machine Tool Show (MWCS) in Shanghai (19 to 23 September 2018), the Metal + Metallurgy China, international trade fair for foundry, furnaces and metallurgy in Shanghai (13 to 16 March 2019), the Ankiros, An- nofer and Turkcast shows in Istan- bul (25 to 27 October 2018), which together constitute Eurasia’s big- gest metallurgy showcase; Win Eurasia in Istanbul (14 to 17 March 2019); and the two-yearly Aluexpo International Aluminum Technolo- gy, Machinery and Products Trade Fair in Istanbul, which will next be held from 10 to 12 October 2019. Under the name of Metal + Tech, the show will premier from 27 to 30 November 2018 at the Guang- dong (Tanzhou) International Convention and Exhibition Center in Foshan. Driving Growth and Development“.
