Hall 3C is NürnbergMesse’s single biggest investment to date, coming in at roughly EUR 70 million, including infrastructure work and taxes. The new hall, which is rising within budget and on schedule, will initially provide an urgently needed “buffer” that ensures a future gross exhibition space of at least 170,000 m² even while future construction projects are in progress.

Nuremberg: Topping-out ceremony for Hall 3C
NuernbergMesse's Hall 3C has only reached its topping-out ceremony, but one thing is already clear: it will be a jewel, and a new attention-getter in the southwest corner of the exhibition centre. And as Hall 3A did before, it combines the highest standards of both quality and energy efficiency, regionality and internationality.

- Width: approx. 85 metres
- Length: approx. 95 to 145 metres (trapezoidal layout)
- Height: approx. 13 to 20 metres
- Gross exhibition area: approx. 9,600 m²
- Construction time: approx. 18 months
- Installed steel: 2,300 metric tons. About 31.5 percent of the weight of the steel structure of the Eiffel Tower, or about 500 elephants.
- Glass façade: 3,000 square metres. About 1,500 times the surface area of a human body, or 2,380 windows measuring 101 x 125 cm
- Roof space: 10,200 square metres. About 2,318 standardised beer tables or 16,372 DIN A4 pages.

Following extensive discussions and critical observation of the current situation, NürnbergMesse, in close cooperation with customers and partners, has decided not to hold the physical BrauBeviale 2020 Special Edition trade fair as planned and to move the program exclusively to the digital world. The reasons for this are the current national and global developments of the corona pandemic, the rapidly increasing number of infections, and the associated massive restrictions on business travel in companies. Exhibitors and visitors will be able to meet virtually all year round on the digital dialog platform myBeviale.com, where the extensive supporting program BrauBeviale@stage will be online from 10 – 12 November 2020. The Bavarian Government has approved the protection and hygiene concept for exhibitions in Bavaria signalling the go-ahead for the SPS 2020 in Nuremberg from 24 - 26 November 2020.
