The Medical Technology division of the VDI Society Technologies of Life Sciences is also playing an active part in the supporting programme of MedtecLIVE, and is providing support for the new exhibition event together with MedTech Summit – Congress & Partnering. In addition to the VDI, numerous other leading industrial and sector associations are supporting MedtecLIVE, including VDE, ZVEI, BVMed and bitkom.
“It will be a pleasure to host the second annual meeting of the Young Professionals in Medical Technology at MedtecLIVE on 22 May 2019,” says Michael Spierkötter, spokesperson for the Young Engineers Network at VDI e.V. “As the centre of the medical technology industry, Nuremberg offers the ideal conditions for our new talents format. This new exhibition event means we have a strong partner on our side.” The Young Professionals can look forward to a rich and varied programme of networking and knowledge sharing at the annual meeting, combined with a visit to MedtecLIVE. The exhibition for the entire medical technology value chain, with its focus on innovation, is the ideal location for cultivating industry contacts.
The Medical Technology division of VDI will also contribute its extensive expertise to the supporting programme of MedtecLIVE, which will include lectures at the open MedtecLIVE trade forum. In addition to the lectures on the first and second days of the exhibition, VDI will also participate in a half-day special on the subject of ‘Career and the Skilled Labour Shortage’ on day three. MedtecLIVE will take place in Nuremberg from 21 to 23 May 2019, together with the highly rated MedTech Summit Congress & Partnering.

MedtecLIVE: joint venture confirmed by German Federal Cartel Office
The exhibition organisers UBM and NürnbergMesse received formal approval from the German Federal Cartel Office for their proposed joint venture and will now move forward with the launch of a new medical technology exhibition, MedtecLIVE. Broad range at Medtec Europe 2018
