Bloggers will be in focus of the opti 2017 in Munich.
Bloggers are opinion formers. They offer instant and authentic lifestyle information to their fan communities. In 2017, opti exhibitors will be able to profit from that for the first time. Ten companies have the opportunity to present their frames to fashion and eyewear bloggers at the fair – during the BLOGGER SPECTACLE on 28th January 2017. Furthermore, an international blogger jury will select the ‘Blogbuster 2017’. This newcomer prize will go to one of the 16 opti boxes.

Around 20 fashion and eyewear bloggers from the European blogosphere are expected in Munich. On average, they receive 100,000 unique visitors every month, 120,000 fans follow their comments on Facebook, and their photos on Instagram have around 140,000 followers. There are ten spots at the BLOGGER SPECTACLE. opti exhibitors can apply by submitting an application form – found under opti.de/en/presse/press-releases/ – until 23rd November. The blogger jury, consisting of around 20 members, evaluates the applications and the new products submitted. The jury have an evaluation scale ranging from ten points (Top-Top-Favourite) to one point (Favourite). On 20th December, ‘The Top Ten’ of selected bloggers will be published on opti’s Facebook page. Furthermore, the ‘The Top Ten’ may then look forward to participating in an exclusive meet & greet.

In addition, on 28th January, the ‘Blogbuster 2017’ newcomer prize will be presented at BLOGGER SPECTACLE for the first time. This year’s 16 exhibitors briefly introduce themselves and their product to the fashion and eyewear bloggers. In 2017, start-ups from the US, Poland, Spain, France, Italy and Germany will be representing.
