Tires are central for any sector, and the market saw the sales of such product increase 8.6 per cent compared to 2016. Only in 2017, for example, according to data from Associação Nacional da Indústria de Pneumáticos (ANIP), 4 million tires were sold for the segment and 642 thousand units for the replacement tire market. When it comes to exports, the surplus amounted to 888.9 million dollars, with a positive balance of 220.9 million tires (exports less imports).
Such figures confirm how important the 13th Pneushow - International Tire Industry Expo is to create opportunities and maximize business, being a universe for cost reduction, together with high safety standards. Associação Brasileira do Segmento de Reforma de Pneus (ABR) estimates that tires are among the three main costs of transport companies.
The 2018 edition is expected to assure of great novelties both in format and attendance of new companies, offering a wide range of products such as: tires for cargo transport, industrial and passenger transportation; supplies, equipment and accessories for tire retreading and repair; raw materials; precured treads; camelbacksand solutions for recycling, waste disposal, and industrial safety solutions.

The Brazilian tire industry meets at 13th PneuShow
PneuShow, the only event in South America dedicated to the tire market, celebrates its 13th edition. It takes place from 26 to 28 June 2018 at Expo Center Norte in São Paulo and will gather around 70 exhibitors showcasing national and international brands.
