"Auto" is subdivided into three separate exhibitions: "New Cars" features the newest vehicles; "Auto Mechanics" deals with automotive parts and maintenance; "Auto Exotica" showcases car tuning masterpieces.
“According to data, Latvia saw faster growth in new passenger car registration last year than the EU in average," says Gints Šāvējs, project manager of "Auto 2019", and "the range of car brands represented at the motor show has expanded."
"Auto Mechanics 2019" offers all what both professionals and motoring enthusiasts need: car cosmetics, tyres, wheels, towing hooks, roof racks, alarm systems, tools, service equipment and spare parts. This will also be the right place for those who look for information on turbocharger repair, different aspects of chip tuning, types of car wraps, nano coatings and rust prevention.
"Auto Exotica 2019", the Baltics’ largest car tuning show, will take up the third temporary hall this year and promises big surprises. Several dozens of car tuning experts from Latvia, Finland, Sweden, Estonia, Lithuania and other countries will display their masterpieces there. Visitors can admire star cars, super tuned cars, drift and drag racing cars, unique hot-rods and lowriders as well as powerful and tuned bikes.

The international motor show "Auto 2019", major automotive event in the Baltic countries, presents the newest passenger and commercial vehicles. Car fans and industry professionals are invited to attend its 24th edition from 12 to 14 April in Riga, Latvia.

automatica 2020 not to be held as in-person event – new format for 2021 under development
The automatica exhibition scheduled for December 8–11, 2020 will not take place due to the current travel restrictions in Europe in connection with the coronavirus pandemic, which are becoming more stringent. This decision has been taken by Messe München in agreement and close coordination with the conceptual sponsor VDMA Robotics + Automation and the automatica Advisory Board. In coordination with the industry, Messe München is now developing a compact new in-person event for mid-2021, which will be adapted to the specific circumstances in times of the coronavirus. automatica is postponed – new date in December 2020
Due to the increasing global spread of Coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) and based on the recommendations of the German Federal Government and the Bavarian State Government, Messe München feels compelled to postpone automatica 2020. This measure has been taken in consultation with the VDMA Robotics + Automation Association as conceptual sponsor and in responsibility for the health of exhibitors and visitors. automatica 2020 will instead take place from December 8 to 11, 2020. AI enables autonomous navigation of catheters
