The beer garden in front of the party tent and the music programme at night guarantee fun and entertainment. “We are responding to the requests and improvement suggestions of our guests,” says Stefan Koschke, Director of the Caravan Salon. “The overall presentation and design of the tents is being updated, and the quality of the food and drinks offered is improved. All in all, it will be more beautiful, modern, and stylish.” When the trade fair closes its doors, the Caravan Center is the caravanning community’s meeting point bringing together exhibitors, visitors, journalists and all other fans of mobile vacationing. A large marquee offering a musical line-up in the evenings makes for fun, entertainment and cosy togetherness.
Those wishing to explore Düsseldorf’s famous Old Town after a long day at the trade fair can also take advantage of a special service: a free shuttlebus will take visitors in comfort into the Old Town and back again to the Caravan Center in the evening. The Caravan Center is open throughout the day until the evening from 7.30 am to 10 pm. Both Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre and the Caravan Center are located outside Düsseldorf’s environmental zone. When arriving at Caravan Salon Düsseldorf via the motorway A44 no emissions sticker is therefore necessary. Those wishing to travel to the event quickly and easily using their sat nav should enter “Am Staad, 40474 Düsseldorf” into the address field. The Caravan Center is right by motorway A44, exit 29 “Düsseldorf-Messe/Arena”.

New catering concept at Caravan Salon 2018
At the Caravan Center – Europe’s largest caravan site, the catering and food concept has been completely revamped and modernized. In addition to an expanded menu, a lounge area, food trucks and a kiosk will be integrated into the concept for the first time, the organiser announced.

CARAVAN SALON: Exhibitors announce over 200 new products in the run-up to the trade fair
Be it a German premiere or even a global first – CARAVAN SALON DÜSSELDORF will also rise to its reputation as a launch-pad trade fair for caravans and motorhomes in 2020. In excess of 350 exhibitors will be showcasing a host of innovations in ten halls from 4 to 13 September. The focus here will be on the new recreational vehicles for the model year 2021. Already in the run-up to the trade fair numerous renowned exhibitors have announced their new products. Experience from previous years shows that many other highlights will only be unveiled at the beginning of the trade fair. CARAVAN SALON Düsseldorf rescheduled: 5 – 13 September 2020
The effects of Coronavirus Covid-19 and the joint decision taken by the German Governmentand the German states to prohibit major events until 31August 2020 as a matter of principle, also have an impact on CARAVAN SALON 2020, which was scheduled to start on 28 August. Messe Düsseldorf, together with the Caravaning Industrie Verband(CIVD), hasdecided to postpone the start of the fair by one week.The Press and Trade Visitor Day will thus take place on 4 September.
