At Intec visitors can expect a comprehensive range of production technology for metalworking, automation technology for upstream and downstream processes in production, but also technology and equipment for workshops and operations. Technological leaders from the machine tool industry, renowned suppliers of precision tools and specialists for automation solutions from Germany and abroad will present their range of services. Small and medium-sized companies will also be able to use Intec as an effective and attractive platform for initiating business. The major German mechanical engineering centres in Baden-Wuerttemberg, Saxony, North Rhine-Westphalia and Bavaria will have a strong presence. Most of the international exhibitors come from Italy, the Netherlands, Austria and Switzerland.
As the perfect partner for Intec, the subcontracting fair Z will be held at the same time. In particular, it offers suppliers in the middle production stages a tailor-made platform for their positioning on the market. Alongside regularly exhibiting companies, new companies from Central Germany and other German industrial regions as well as from abroad were attracted to the Z. The international exhibitors come mainly from western and eastern Europe. With innovative ideas and sophisticated products, the suppliers will present an exhibition tailored to the industry’s needs.
The machine tool sector will be presenting a series of innovations and optimisations at Intec. For example, a 4-axis horizontal machining centre can be flexibly configured and thus precisely adapted to the customer’s requirements – thanks to its modular design.
Production automation and digitisation are reflected representatively in the Intec exhibitors’ offerings. An exhibitor will be showing Connected Machining, which connects the machines in the workshop with the company network in a digitalised production process. Furthermore, it facilitates the individual, operation-related use of data – tailored to the customer’s needs. Another innovation: a smart rolling mill that anticipates and adjusts the processes to the specific workpiece.
Z 2019 will be well attended with exhibitors meeting the demand for parts and components made of metals, plastics and innovative materials. An example is a joint rod configurator. The tool creates individual units online and without any loss of time and provides information on functional dimensions, prices and delivery times.
