Jubran Abdulrahman, the Managing Director of the organisers Hilal Conferences and Exhibitions said: “The annual expo continues to build on the event’s successful foundations set over 10 years ago. This year’s Gulf Construction Expo carries the strategic sponsorship of Haji Hassan and Tamkeen. The exciting aspect for 2019 will be the attraction of companies from Saudi Arabia and around the world.”
“Gulf Construction Expo will remain an innovative showcase for the construction sector by continuing to deliver a dedicated showcase for the construction sector attracting a targeted visitor base of property developers, interior designers, architects, consultants and contractors, procurement managers and investors from around the GCC.” Concludes Mr. Abdulrahman.
Gulf Construction Expo (formerly called gulfBID expo) is held annually in conjunction with two other major events, the Gulf Property Show and Interiors Expo providing the biggest integrated business-to-business showcase for the construction, interiors and property sectors ever to be staged in the Northern Gulf.
Gulf Construction exhibitors take advantage of Bahrain’s strategic location as a competitive gateway, underpinned by a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with the USA, makes it the ideal venue for Gulf Construction Expo.
Saudi Arabia, the region’s most important strategic market and industrial powerhouse, is just 25 km away – providing industrialists, factory managers and industry professionals from the kingdom with the opportunity to visit the show with ease and convenience. Visitors from Saudi Arabia are the significant proportion of the total number of visitors to Gulf Construction Expo.
The growing construction demands for Qatar and Kuwait and the lower Gulf countries of UAE and Oman are increasingly integrated in terms of investment and comparative cost advantages, providing tremendous business opportunities.
