The first-of-its-kind trade show in the country provides Latin America with a new platform for digital transformation and intelligent manufacturing as the region’s manufacturing community is showing readiness for the next wave of transformational change.
Mexico is undoubtedly an industrial power and a gateway to Latin America, thus in order to maintain its dynamic growth and development, it is essential to have a business, education and political platform where Mexican and international companies can present their latest developments: a place where they can learn first-hand about technologies of the future and train their staff. The extensive Industry 4.0 potential and the outstanding Mexican participation as guest country at the Hannover Messe 2018 resulted in the launch of ITM.
ITM 2019 will be a fundamental event with three main priorities: exhibit, educate and innovate. The event consists of a tradeshow, conference and educational program tied together by the overarching themes of smart manufacturing and digital transformation in Mexico. The exhibition program features four main display categories – Metalworking, Automation, Robotization and Motion, Digital Factory / ICT and Smart Logistics – as well as areas for live demonstrations and one-on-one consultations.
Besides, ITM welcomes research institutions in order to open a space where visionary ideas of researchers become real life applications. In this incubator of the future, visitors will find cutting edge technology, as well as solutions that will increase their efficiency and decrease their costs.
Startups @ ITM will provide room for innovations and new trends, where new thinkers and pacesetters will get together to bring new solutions and ideas to established companies, as well as networking with potential investors.
The event serves industry sectors such as aerospace, automotive, electronics, health care, food and beverage, metalworking, packaging systems, and steel and chemical processing.
All participants (both exhibitors and visitors) will contribute to the creation of a joint Mexican and Latin American Industry 4.0 agenda.
The event is projected to welcome over 160 exhibiting companies on an exhibition space of over 12,000 sqm.

The first edition of Industrial Transformation Mexico (ITM), a Hannover Messe event, will take place in the city of León, Guanajuato, right within the country’s thriving manufacturing belt at the modern Poliforum León, a state-of-the-art exhibition centre, from October 9 – 11th, 2019.
