Greenery & Landscaping: NürnbergMesse goes to China
One of the most important business platforms for Chinese decision-makers, who plan, construct and maintain private and communal gardens, parks, open spaces, sports facilities and playgrounds, is Greenery & Landscaping China.
The trade fair will take place from 7th to 9th June in the Shanghai World Expo Convention & Exhibition Center. More than 8,000 trade visitors are expected. A top-class congress with international speakers as well as a professionally organized delegation trip will make participating in the exhibition an attractive proposition for both German and European exhibitors as well as all other players in the sector in equal measure.
The gardening and landscaping and the landscape architecture sectors are growing rapidly in China. As the number of inhabitants in Chinese towns and cities continues to rise, it is not only many new homes which are being constructed. There has also been an increase in the level of investment in green spaces and recreational facilities.
Successful trade fair with new concept
As organizer of the international leading exhibition GaLaBau, NürnbergMesse has been a reliable partner to providers of machines, devices and materials for use in professional gardening and landscaping as well as maintenance of green spaces for many years when it comes to the positioning of products and services in the market to reach their respective target groups. Now European GaLaBau suppliers can also benefit from a comfortable way of presenting their offers in China. As of this year, the NürnbergMesse subsidiary company NürnbergMesse China will be the organizer of the Greenery & Landscaping China trade fair in Shanghai. The exhibition format has already existed for more than ten years and is now ready to be launched with a completely new concept in cooperation with the Shanghai Landscape Architecture and Gardening Trade Association (SLAGTA).
International congress on current green issues
Complementing the trade fair, the China International Symposium on Ecological Landscape Planning and Construction will take place on 7th June. The Fit for Future, Building the Liveable City trade congress will then open its doors on 8th June. Renowned speakers from five countries and four continents will engage with the issue of how a liveable city can be constructed both today and in the future. The congress will be organized by Robert Schäfer from Munich. He is known by many green experts in Germany as the founder and long-term editor of the international Topos magazine. The first-class congress program guarantees that numerous Chinese decision-makers for the development of urban and green spaces will visit Greenery and Landscaping China.
