For a clear view
With the newly constructed trade show halls C5 and C6, a new chapter is beginning for opti 2019, the trade fair for optics and design. In November 2016, a first workshop will be held.
It is therefore important to make decisions now and answer the following questions correctly: What will the line-up be like for the trade show, which future topics and specialist areas are important for the industry, and which emerging economic markets are supposed to be opened up? Questions that trade show organiser GHM Gesellschaft für Handwerksmessen mbH is discussing together with a group of opti exhibitors and opticians. The participants who will meet at the first “Seed Session – the future panel”, on 17 November 2016 in Munich, have been published.
“Opinion leaders, key players, voices from the various sectors, industry insiders and long-term opti exhibitors – this is the group that has been continuously contributing their specialist expertise for further thematic and professional development for years”, explains Dieter Dohr, CEO of GHM Gesellschaft für Handwerksmessen mbH. “The Seed Session is a continuance of the different round tables that have already taken place in the past. Ultimately, the direct link to exhibitors and clients, and their professional input, are the ingredients for the success of opti. Optometry representatives and industrial representatives from the various sectors at the trade show come together in the workshop – a novelty for opti. For the first time, both our client groups will exchange ideas together about the future, and discuss and design their dream trade show with GHM.”
During the workshop on 17 November 2016, the road map will be determined with key topics for the five “Seed Sessions” until 2019, always alternating in autumn and spring. Moreover, if the majority of the participants argue the case for the inclusion of further members, at the opening workshop there will be the opportunity to expand the circle in order for this to happen.
