European BIM Summit and BBConstrumat unite forces
The third European Summit on Building Information Modeling (BIM) will take place on 25 and 26 May 2017 as part of BBConstrumat. The trade show and the BIM summit decided to unite forces to drive construction along the path of technological innovation.
The Barcelona Association of Quantity Surveyors (CAATEEB), the BIM Academy and the Spanish chapter of buildingSMART signed the collaboration agreement. This third edition of the European BIM Summit will be hosting France as its guest country. The event will showcase the latest advances in this new working method based on the management of information generated during the lifecycle of a building, which has now become an indispensable way of ensuring a construction process focused on improving the quality, efficiency and efficacy of every project, building site and civil works undertaking.
Presentations and workshops for decision-makers
The European BIM Summit will include presentations and workshops to analyse the optimum tools, services and products for everyone working in this field. The Summit is aimed at the officers and managers of public administrations, property developers, architectural practices, engineering firms, consultancy services, building material suppliers, manufacturers, project and construction managers, site and works managers, facility managers and builders, amongst others – the decision-makers who set and will continue to set the pace of the construction sector.
The European BIM Summit brings significant added value to the twentieth edition of the show, which encompasses all the sectors and subsectors in the construction industry in its offering.
