Welche Erwar- tungen verbinden Sie damit? Vor allem erhoffe ich mir, in Gesprächen und Diskus- sionen mit potentiellen Anwendern meinen eigenen Horizont für die Möglichkeiten und Grenzen unserer Technologie zu erweitern. Des Weiteren würde ich mich natürlich freuen, wenn Experten für optische 3D-Messtechnik gezielt unseren Stand aufsuchen würden und ich mit ihnen Detailprobleme diskutieren kann. Parallel zur Messe findet die Fachtagung „Sen- soren und Messsysteme“ statt, auf der wir einen Bei- trag zu unseremMesssystem präsentieren. Durch die Messe ergibt sich nun die seltene Möglichkeit, inter- essierten Tagungsteilnehmern das Messsystem live vorführen zu können. Ein Ausblick: Wie sieht die weitere Roadmap für das Messsystem aus? Das auf der Messe präsentierte Messsystem de- monstriert zunächst nur die Idee und die prinzipielle Funktionsfähigkeit des Verfahrensansatzes. Für un- sere Roadmap ergeben sich zwei unterschiedliche Richtungen. Zum einen sollte das Messsystem syste- matisch untersucht und hinsichtlich seiner allgemei- nen Leistungsparameter optimiert werden. Daraus resultieren im Allgemeinen wissenschaftliche Veröf- fentlichungen und neue Ideen für weiterführende Arbeiten. Zum anderen würden wir gern auch in ei- ne konkrete Applikationsentwicklung starten. Hier- für benötigen wir noch die passenden industriellen Partner, die gewillt sind, den Aufwand und das Risi- ko eines solchen Schrittes zu tragen. Als Universität sind wir dabei natürlich auf Drittmittel angewiesen. Nicht zuletzt hoffen wir durch unseren Messeauf- tritt, Kontakte zu neuen potentiellen Projektpart- nern zu knüpfen. Attractive and esteemed High-calibre supporting programme at Sensor+Test T he date, the last week of June, is new, but one thing is for sure: Sensor+Test 2018 will once again be the worldwide leading platform for sensor, measuring, and testing technol- ogy. Visitors will have the oppor- tunity to obtain comprehensive information on the state of the art in sensors and measurement not only at the stands of the 580 exhibitors from all over the globe, but also at the numerous parallel technical conferences and action programs. ITG/GMA session The Sensor+Test will be comple- mented again this year by two first-rate technical conferences: The 19. ITG/GMA-Fachtagung “Sensoren und Messsysteme” is the most important congress dealing with sensors and measur- ing technology in German speak- ing countries. It is supported jointly by the VDI/VDE’s GMA and organized by the ITG. European Test and Telemetry Conference For the third time, after 2014 and 2016, the European Society of Te- lemetry will hold the European Test and Telemetry Conference – ettc2018 in cooperation with the Sensor+Test in Nuremberg. The ettc2018 – including the confer- ence and its accompanying exhi- bition in Hall 2 – is the European platform for telemetry, test in- strumentation, and telecontrol. Parallel to these events, the ex- hibitors at the Sensor+Test 2018 are to present their latest devel- opments, products, and services at the free technical forums in Halls 1 and 5 on all three days of the fair. The currently 55 select- ed lectures, including a session on the special topic “Sensor and Measuring Technology in the In- dustrial Internet” on the first day of the fair, were certified by a board of experts to ensure and increase the high quality of the presentations and the usefulness for the visitors. Automotive Testing Live Particularly attractive and highly esteemed by the visitors are the practical demonstrations and rides in the instrumented test ve- hicles in the action area.
