•••8••• Mondoeristico ”Innovation Alliance“ is ready to take off Trade fairs Plast, Print4All and Intralogistica Italia to be held concurrently with IPACK-IMA I n Milan, IPACK-IMA and MEAT- TECH will benefit from being held concurrently with the other exhibitions in “The Innovation Alliance”, namely Plast, Print4All and Intralogistica Italia, which together will occupy a net exhibi- tion space of more than 140,000 square metres extending over al- most the entire Rho-Fiera Milano exhibition centre. A single en- trance ticket granting admission to all five shows will simplify at- tendance for visitors. “The Innovation Alliance” is also expecting around 1,000 selected buyers who have been invited to the five trade fairs with the sup- port of the Italian Ministry for Economic Development and the Italian Trade Agency ITA. In par- ticular, IPACK-IMA and MEAT-TECH will host buyers from Europe, Af- rica, the Middle East, South Amer- ica and the United States. The re- cently initiated pre-registration process is also seeing excellent re- sults with an increase in the num- ber of professionals applying for entrance tickets. These results owe much to the in- tense international promotional campaign carried out in recent years, including participation in around 50 exhibitions worldwide, 5 press conferences organised in major markets, partnerships with 230 Italian and internation- al publishers, activities on social networks and partnerships with associations and international organisations, all of which have generated more than 1 million contacts. The quality of these activities and the importance of the exhi- bition as an international show- case for companies has been endorsed by the US Commercial Department Certification, the prestigious Trade Fair Certifica- tion (TFC) granted exclusively to international exhibitions capable of offering US companies access to expanding markets with excel- lent business opportunities and export growth potential. The In- novation Alliance focuses on an innovative cross-cutting supply chain, increasingly oriented to- wards new integration perspec- tives, even thanks to the growing popularity of Industry 4.0. At the same time, it showcases leading industrial segments, which make Italy the world’s second manu- facturer of industrial machinery. The Innovation Alliance will oc- cupy 17 pavillions, essentially the entire area of the Fiera Milano ex- hibition district, representing the largest event ever dedicated to industrial machinery in Italy and one of the leading sector events in Europe. Photo: Deutsche Messe Italian-German cooperation Strategic alliance between IPACK-IMA, UCIMA and interpack signed IPACK-IMA, UCIMA and inter- pack have signed a strategic alli- ance: under the terms of the agreements, IPACK-IMA and in- terpack will reciprocally support their packaging trade fairs held in Milan and Düsseldorf whilst UCIMA will provide support to the international events of Messe Düsseldorf organized as part of interpack alliance. The aim of the partnership is to offer a reference network to companies in the packaging branch and relat- ed processing industries. The co- operation with IPACK-IMA in- cludes communication measures like websites, mailings, bro- chures, press meetings or infor- mation booths for the reciprocal support of interpack in Düssel- dorf and IPACK-IMA in Milan. The focus of the cooperation with the Italian packaging ma- chinery manufacturers’ associa- tion, UCIMA, is on its exclusive support of the international packaging and processing exhibi- tions of interpack alliance in Chi- na, India, Iran and Russia. interpack will take place on 7-13 May, 2020, in Düsseldorf.
