These include the chipping production competence centre of the University of Furtwangen, the Ruhr West University, the institute of chipping production (ISF) of the Dortmund Technical University, the Insti- tute of Tool Machines and Factory Opera- tion (IWF) of the TU Berlin, the IWT Bremen – foundation institute of material engineer- ing, the Leibnitz University (IWF), the Rhen- ish Technical College Cologne GmbH – Insti- tute of Tool and Production Technology and the WZL tool machine laboratory of the RWTH Aachen University. Furthermore, together with its French part- ner association SNAFOT, the FDPW special- ist association of German precision tool grinders (Fachverband Deutscher Präzi- sions-Werkzeugschleifer) is presenting it- self in the conference centre at the Augs- burg Exhibition Centre. The GrindTec forum with its lectures on current themes of the branch and the Jakob Preh school from Bad Neustadt as a specialist school for cut- ting tool mechanics can also be found here.
