•••8••• Messewelten Premiere für CastForge am Neckar Neue Fachmesse mit Fokus auf Guss- und Schmiedeteile vom 5. bis 7. Juni 2018 in Stuttgart M it dem Fokus auf Guss- und Schmiedeteile und deren Bearbeitung geht die neue Stutt- garter Fachmesse CastForge erst- mals vom 5. bis 7. Juni 2018 an den Start. Gezeigt werden Produkte aus Maschinen- und Anlagenbau, Fahrzeug- und Antriebstechnik, Baumaschinen-, Pumpen- und Hy- draulik-, aber auch der Zulieferin- dustrie. Parallele Branchenmessen Abgerundet wird das Informa- tionsangebot für die Besucher der CastForge durch weitere, pa- rallel stattfindende Branchen- messen: die Global Automotive Components and Suppliers Expo, die Engine Expo, die Automotive Interiors Expo, die Automotive Testing Expo, die Surface Techno- logy Germany und die LASYS – In- ternationale Fachmesse für Laser- Materialbearbeitung. Neben bereits vorliegenden Anmeldungen und Zusagen, überwiegend Hersteller aus Deutschland und Italien, haben internationale Branchenverbände ihre Unterstützung zur CastForge bereits zugesichert. So plant der tschechische Gieße- reiverband Svaz Sléváren ebenso einen Gemeinschaftsstand für sei- ne Mitglieder wie der italienische Industrieverband Confartigianato Imprese Varese. Außerdem ist die Messe Stuttgart im Gespräch mit der ASMET (Austrian Society for Metallurgy and Materials) über ein Engagement im Vortragspro- gramm. VomRohling bis zum finalen Bauteil Mit der CastForge gibt die Mes- se Stuttgart der Branche für Guss- und Schmiedeteile sowie deren Bearbeitung eine eigene Plattform. Sie zeigt die gesamte Wertschöpfungskette vom Guss- oder Schmiederohling über die maschinelle Bearbeitung bis hin zum finalen Bauteil und bietet Herstellern erstmals die Mög- lichkeit, ihr Leistungsspektrum aus Stahl-, Grau-, Sphäro- sowie Nichteisen-Guss- und Schmiede- teilen einem breiten Publikum zu präsentieren. Internationale Aussteller zeigen ihre Produk- te einem breiten Fachpublikum aus Maschinen- und Anlagenbau, Fahrzeug- und Antriebstechnik, Baumaschinen-, Pumpen- und Hydraulik-, aber auch der Zulie- ferindustrie. Foto: Messe Stuttgart Quality Area at Metav 2018 Measuring and testing technology in focus – 20-24 February in Düsseldorf At Metav 2018, the Quality Area will be showcasing the very lat- est applications for classical measuring and testing technol- ogy, up-to-the-future solutions in quality management, and in- novations for quality assurance in Industry 4.0. The array of ex- hibits will be complemented by a forum featuring specialised presentations and seminars. On 20-24 February 2018, the German Association for Quality (DGQ) and the German Society for the Certification of Man- agement Systems (DQS), will once again be partners of the Quality Area. DGQ and DQS will be jointly offering interactive workshops, designed to answer quality-related questions in Val- ue Added Chain 4.0. Measuring solutions at Metav Photo: Messe Düsseldorf / ctillmann New show layout at MACH 2018 MACH 2018 takes place at the NEC in Birming- ham from 9th-13th April and is on course to be another bumper show, organizer MTA (Manufac- turing Technologies As- sociation) announces. With a new show layout, MACH 2018 will take place on the atrium side of the NEC, in Halls 17, 18, 19, 20, 6 and 7. Following on from the “sold-out success of MACH 2016”, the MTA CEO James Selka commented: “With new halls and extra space to sell, we are seeing premium spots be- ing snapped up by exhibitors at a good rate, leaving us with a little under a quarter of the show left to sell, which is a very encouraging sign for the industry at this stage. So we’d encourage all companies wish- ing to book a stand for MACH 2018 to act quickly to secure their space at the UK’s premier manufacturing technologies showcase.” The new layout of the show is all on one level, en- hancing both the visitor and exhibitor experience.
