The event will include, for the first time, five events with linked by a common thread, i.e. the supply chain logic: PLAST, the reference event for the plastic and rubber industry; IPACK-IMA, the leading event for processing and packaging technologies; MEAT-TECH, the event specialised in meat processing and packaging; Print4All, the new format dedicated to the commercial and industrial printing industry; Intralogistica Italia, the event that combines innovative solutions and integrated systems for industrial handling, warehouse management, material storage, and picking operations.
The Innovation Alliance focuses on an innovative cross-cutting supply chain, increasingly oriented towards new integration perspectives, even thanks to the growing popularity of Industry 4.0. At the same time, it showcases leading industrial segments, which make Italy the world’s second manufacturer of industrial machinery. The Innovation Alliance will occupy 17 pavillions, essentially the entire area of the Fiera Milano exhibition district, representing the largest event ever dedicated to industrial machinery in Italy and one of the leading sector events in Europe.

Italian Innovation Alliance ready to take off
The Innovation Alliance in Milan - including IPACK-IMA, PLAST, MEAT-TECH, Print4All and Intralogistica Italia - is on growth course: Already 2656 exhibitors from 54 countries and 126,585 square metres have been confirmed three months before the event, the organisers announced.

IPACK-IMA and MEAT-TECH: visitor figures more than doubled
The recently concluded shows IPACK-IMA and MEAT-TECH marked the most successful editions in the history of the events: A total of 68,802 visitors arrived at the Fiera Milano exhibition centre during the four days of the show, an all-time record for the two events and more than double the number who attended in 2015. This year's IPACK-IMA - Italian trade fair for processing and packaging, will extend over eight halls divided up according to exhibitor business communities or the specific types of products. CeMAT worldwide: Nine events outside of Germany
Starting in 2018, the CeMAT show will move to a new time slot that will see it co-staged with HANNOVER MESSE every two years. The next CeMAT will thus be held from 23 to 27 April 2018. Deutsche Messe’s overseas CeMAT events are offshoots of the parent CeMAT in Hannover. (more…)
