EMV 2017 offers compact knowledge in 39 workshops
Once again the EMV 2017 offers a broad spectrum of 39 workshops, including nine in English language. EMI suppression ferrites, precomplianceprobes, EMC, radio and automotive standards, shielding, system design and power distribution are some of the focused topics.
“These very user oriented EMC workshops 2017 in Stuttgart are again a guaranty for comprehensive, up-to-date info at technical top quality level. There is no other comparable event throughout the EU to get efficiently updated in such a short period of time. Internationally recognized experts present and discuss a broad spectrum of current topics with EMC users”, describes Dr. Diethard Hansen, a long-term speaker. The EMV workshops take place from 28 to 30 March 2017.
Free seminars at the exhibition forum
Two experts in the automotive EMC industry will discuss the design and test challenges arising from emerging automotive technologies at the exhibition forum. The speakers are Garth D’Abreu, Director Automotive Solutions for a Texan company, and Flavia Grassi, Assistant Professor at the Technical University Politecnico di Milano in Italy.
Janet O’Neil, responsible for Marketing Communications of an American business firm, explains the importance of EMC in the automotive sector:
“The rapid development of advanced automotive features and the trend toward autonomy is driving the need for more sophisticated automotive EMC design and test scenarios.” Furthermore she is convinced that “vehicle platforms continue to become increasingly more complex with propulsion, entertainment and safety related systems all having to function reliably without impacting safety or the legacy communications infrastructure.”
