Co-located fairs in India with smart automation solutions
The third edition of SPS Automation India, Motek India and Control India will take place in Mumbai. Scheduled from 8 - 10 June 2017, the co-located technology fairs will target technologies key to attaining manufacturing competitiveness for Indian players.
In keeping with the technology needs of the market, the co-located fairs will be dedicated to the latest in manufacturing concepts. SPS Automation India 2017 will focus on factory and process automation and applied solutions whereas Motek India will cover automation in assembly automation, robotics and material handling. Control India, on the other hand, will focus on instrumentation, measurement, opto-electronics and quality assurance. The trade fair, also comprising a conference, will cover a diverse mix of subjects, services and solutions in order to meet India’s demand as one of the fastest growing automation markets in the world.
India is seeking technology partners to accelerate domestic manufacturing and improve their technology infrastructure. With the government‘s impetus on developing industrial corridors and smart cities along with rolling out major programmes such as Make in India, Digital India etc, there is a sharp innovation and technology led movement in the country. The national manufacturing policy is another strong step towards development of manufacturing industry. Vertical specific initiatives are being put in place by the government to enhance sector wise growth and production capacities in F&B, automotive, textile, pharmaceutical, petrochemicals etc.
