About 50 thousand buyers from China and elsewhere are expected, making itself Asia's largest international exhibition for hardware. IHA Congress, a global gathering for the hardware industry organized by China National Hardware Association, is going to be held at the same time in Shanghai. This will be the second time Shanghai is playing host to it. Hardware professionals, business leaders, retail representatives from the world over will descend on Shanghai to explore industry trends. They will also visit CIHS 2017. CIHS, as China's preeminent exhibition for the hardware industry, represents the industry's state of the art. This year, it will showcase the booming development and cutting edge of China's hardware industry.

In 2017, CIHS will continue to act as an international platform that helps China's first-rate hardware tools go global. CIHS takes overseas products to China by displaying them in an atmosphere of exchange and cooperation. The fair will give equal emphasis to both domestic and overseas business. On the domestic end, it will particularly try to increase the number of distributors in cities along the route of the Belt and Road Initiative, apart from alluring those from coastal cities. On the overseas end, it will focus on emerging markets such as Central and South America, and will furthermore keep on attracting Asian and European buyers.

One of CIHS's highlights is a diversity of activities. It will strengthen its traditional activities such as industry intelligence releases, international trade forums, award sessions. Meanwhile, it will have an Internet and hardware forum and a smart manufacturing conference to keep pace with the industry's development and benefit exhibitors by helping them discover more business channels and stay updated about industry trends.
