Ambiente shows wide range
Visitors of the fair Ambiente (from 10 to 14 February 2017 in Frankfurt) can find there products for the household, jewellery and fashion requisites, as well as decorative products and interior design concepts.
It is not only children and pirates whose eyes brighten at the first sight of the contents of a treasure chest! Retailers, too, would not mind getting hold of one or two things, so as to be able to put together an individual box of goodies for their customers. This particular chest contains personal accessories, fashion items, bags, leather goods – and, indeed, jewellery, too – for all requirements. “The efficacy of retailers and the added value that we provide for them in the multi-layered complementary programme is our first priority in planning Hall 9.2,” emphasises Yvonne Engelmann, Giving and Living Director at Ambiente. She thereby stresses the structure of the Hall, where all suppliers in the Accessories & Jewellery product group are being brought together exclusively in one place for the first time. For buyers, that means short walking distances and creates space for networking, for inspiration about selling and perspectives on the future.
Two cafés are an integral part of Hall 9.2. They provide networking opportunities as well as offering an inviting venue for lectures, a catwalk and the added bonus of some really nice food. Café Silver provides visitors with snacks and refreshments in the centre of the hall. Café Gold on the western side of the hall is significantly larger and equipped with a large stage.
Putting together an attractive mix of core and supplementary ranges is an important step on the road to retail success. Equally important are, for instance, techniques to clearly identify the specific needs of customers seeking advice, or ways of enhancing the appeal of a shop through clever displays of products and appealing decoration. And the Ambiente Academy offers a wide range of lectures for established retailers, who are, perhaps, honing their online presence or planning an e-commerce strategy. The lectures on the stage of Café Gold are aimed at all Ambiente product groups.
